The Real Estate (Regulation and Development) Act, 2016 requires every real estate project above a threshold size to register with the state authority — MahaRERA in Maharashtra — before it can be marketed or sold. A RERA-registered project has declared timelines, payment plans, carpet area, and financial escrow rules. HousingCorner works only with RERA-registered inventory, which is your primary legal protection as a buyer.
We are based in Latur and operate across all 36 districts of Maharashtra. Our on-ground advisory is strongest in Latur, Solapur, Pune, and the broader Marathwada region, with verified listings across the state.
We coordinate home-loan referrals to scheduled banks and NBFCs with whom we have a relationship, and we walk you through documentation. We do not lend, underwrite, or collect EMIs — those remain strictly between you and the bank. This is required by the Act and also, frankly, how it should be.
Under MahaRERA Order No. 1A/2023, every individual real estate agent (and at least one designated person of every firm) must clear the MahaRERA Agent Competency Examination before they can register or renew. HousingCorner's agent registration is backed by a passed competency certificate, which you are welcome to verify on the MahaRERA portal.
Delays happen. Under RERA, the developer is obligated to compensate you as per the declared timeline and terms. HousingCorner will support you with the paperwork and escalation path through MahaRERA — we stay with you past the booking, not just until commission is received.
